it’s officially wedding season for my circle of friends! don’t be surprised if there are more wedding themed posts…it’s in the air! this last weekend i held a “bachelorette brunch” for my gal pal tabitha burkhart over at haven page design. since she’s getting married on cinco de mayo, naturally it had to be a fiesta! the menu called for build your own breakfast burritos including eggs, bacon, potatoes, soyrizo & all the fixins including homemade guacamole. my favorite part though was the prep & getting all the decor “fiesta” ready. by the end of the day we were all speaking spanish….& that maaaaay have had something to do with bottomless mimosas.
all the details came together perfectly. paper pendants add a pop of color that catch the light just perfectly. the unique flower arrangement was my favorite table topper from my local flower shop. and of course who can have a fiesta without mustaches?! naturally the bride needed the statement mustache.
& of course a brunch is not brunch without a fully loaded mimosa & bloody mary bar. name tags adorned the glasses with yellow & blue ribbons & potted cactuses brought the mexico to the mimosa!
it had to be creative & fun to reflect the bride herself!
